LetsBot for Mac · macOS 12 or later

Your customer inbox, on your Mac

WhatsApp, e-mail, Messenger, Instagram and website chat in one window: list and conversation side by side, a menu bar and shortcuts, files dropped into the chat, and macOS notifications with the LetsBot chime.

Version 1.7.4 is on the Mac App Store for Apple silicon and Intel Macs, with My work.

Built for a Mac screen

Every conversation in view, without hopping between screens

What reaches live chat in your dashboard reaches the Mac app, in a window made for a mouse and a keyboard.

List and conversation side by side

The sidebar, then the chat list, then the open conversation, in one window at least 1024 points wide. Drag the divider to resize the list.

Right-click menus

Right-click any message for its menu, including Reply. Select and copy message text the way you would in any Mac app.

Search inside the chat

Press ⌘F to search the open conversation, Enter for the next match and Shift+Enter for the previous one, and Esc to close the search.

Media on a big screen

Open a photo in a full-window viewer with keyboard zoom, save any file where you want through the save dialog, and open documents in their default app.

Menu bar and keyboard shortcuts

Reply faster without leaving the keyboard

The app has a full macOS menu bar: LetsBot, File, Edit, View, Window and Help. Every shortcut sits next to its command in the menu, so you learn it as you work.

Drag and drop

From Finder to the chat in one move

Drag photos and documents from your folders, drop them into the open chat and check them before sending.

  • Photos and videos together. Drop several photos or clips at once and they are prepared on the send-media screen, so you can check them before sending.
  • Documents. Drop a PDF or any document and it opens on the send-file screen. Drop several different files and the first one is taken; the app tells you so.
  • Paste an image. Copy a picture or a screenshot, then paste it straight into the composer.
  • Save what customers send. Save photos and documents from the chat to the folder you choose, through the usual macOS save dialog.

Notifications

Working on something else? Your Mac tells you

Notifications arrive as long as the app is running, even with the window closed. Quit the app and they stop until you open it again.

Native macOS notifications

Every incoming message in a chat you are not looking at raises a notification grouped by chat; click it and the window comes forward with that chat open.

The LetsBot chime

Notifications play LetsBot’s own chime, so you can tell them from your other apps.

A badge on the Dock icon

The unread count sits on the app icon in the Dock.

Close the window, keep the app

Closing the window does not quit the app, so notifications keep coming; reopen it from the Dock icon.

All your channels in one list

The channels connected to your workspace share one conversation list, each chat marked with its channel.

Messenger

Your Facebook Page messages next to every other channel.

Messenger bot

Website chat

Visitors message you from the chat window on your site, and you answer with text, images and files.

Live chat

Your account, language and look, as you know them

Sign in with Apple

With the same workspace account, or with Apple or Google when they are offered on the sign-in screen.

More than one workspace

Switch between your accounts inside the app; the open chat closes on a switch so accounts never mix.

Dark mode

An interface that is easy on the eyes, settings screens included.

Four languages

Arabic, English, Spanish and Portuguese, with the sidebar on the right in the Arabic interface.

Apple silicon and Intel

One build runs on both, on macOS 12 or later.

New in version 1.7.4

My work in the sidebar

Version 1.7.4 adds a My work item before Settings in the sidebar, and a Go menu in the menu bar: your tasks, tickets, appointments and deals next to your chats, with a Today summary and a team overview for managers. It is in the mobile app too.

WhatsApp voice calls are not in the Mac app at the moment; take them in the mobile app. Mobile app

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to run the LetsBot Mac app?
macOS 12 or later. The app runs on Macs with Apple silicon and Intel processors, and you get it from the Mac App Store.
Is the app free to download?
Yes. Downloading the app is free, and it works within your current LetsBot plan with no extra charge for the app itself.
Do I need a new account for the Mac app?
No. Sign in with the same workspace account you use in the dashboard and the mobile app, or with Apple or Google when they are offered on the sign-in screen. You can switch between several workspaces from inside the app.
Do notifications arrive when the app is closed?
They arrive as long as the app is running, even after you close its window; reopen it from the Dock icon. If you quit the app completely, notifications stop until you open it again. On your first sign-in macOS asks for permission to show notifications; you can change it later under System Settings → Notifications.
Why don’t I see the chat list and the conversation side by side?
The two-pane view appears when the window is at least 1024 points wide. Make the window wider or press the green zoom button, and the list and the conversation show together; drag the divider between them to resize the list.
Can I take WhatsApp calls on the Mac?
Not at the moment. WhatsApp voice calls are in the mobile app; the Mac app focuses on conversations, e-mail and files.
Where is My work in the Mac app?
In version 1.7.4: a My work item in the sidebar before Settings, and a Go menu in the menu bar that jumps straight to My tasks, Tickets, Appointments and the deals pipeline.
How do I send a file from my Mac to a customer?
Drag the file from Finder and drop it into the conversation. Photos and videos are prepared together as one batch; any other file opens in the send-file screen, and only the first one is taken if you drop several different files. You can also paste an image straight into the composer.
