The LetsBot app: your customer inbox, in your pocket

Answer WhatsApp, e-mail, Messenger and Instagram wherever you are. In the new version your team also sees the time left in the 24-hour window, an estimate of what a reply costs before it is sent, and who sent every message: an agent, the bot, a campaign or your store integration.

New version 1.7.0 is on the App Store; the Google Play update follows.

A composer that knows what a reply costs

From 1 October 2026 Meta bills service messages after the free allowance. So we put everything an agent needs to send the reply that helps, and skip the extra ones, at the foot of every chat.

  1. The 24-hour window bar

Sits above the composer in official WhatsApp chats with a live countdown of the time left, and turns to a warning style in the last hour. It never blocks a send; it is a reminder, nothing more.

  2. The send queue

A short pause you choose before an agent’s message leaves: Send now, or Undo to put the text back in the box. Type a second message and the app asks: merge with the previous one, send separately, or go back to editing. Nothing merges on its own.

    Off by default
  3. The reaction suggestion

When a draft is only a thank-you or an emoji, the app suggests reacting to the customer’s message instead of sending a text. You decide, and Send as message is always there.

    Off by default
  4. The cost chip

Shows how many of the 1,000 free service messages this number has used this month, then an estimate of billed messages, and flags a reply long enough to be split into more than one message.

    Off by default

Know who sent every message

When the bot, the AI, campaigns and your store all talk in the same chat, an agent needs to know what was said, and by whom, before replying. Every outgoing message no agent wrote carries a small badge on the sender avatar; long-press it to read the label. AI replies get their own badge when “Record AI replies separately from bot replies” is on under Message cost settings; otherwise they show the bot badge.

  • Pick a service: 1 Orders, 2 Shipping Sent by the bot
  • Yes, the large size is in stock in black. Sent by AI (when recorded separately)
  • Your booking is confirmed for Sunday, 10:30. Sent through the API
  • The new autumn collection is here. Sent by a broadcast campaign
  • Your items are still in your cart. Abandoned cart message
  • Your order #4812 has shipped. Sent by the store integration

Frequently asked questions

Is the LetsBot app available on iOS and Android?
Yes. The app is on the App Store and Google Play, and you sign in with the same workspace account you use in the LetsBot dashboard. Version 1.7.0 is on the App Store; the Google Play update follows.
Is the app free to download?
Yes. Downloading the app is free, and it works within your current LetsBot plan with no extra charge for the app itself.
Which channels can I answer from the app?
WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram conversations, plus the e-mail inboxes connected to your workspace: reply inside the e-mail thread, write a new e-mail, add Bcc recipients and attach files.
Are the cost tools in the app on by default?
No. The cost chip, the send queue, multi-send confirmation and the reaction suggestion are off by default; you switch them on under Settings → Message cost in the app or the dashboard. They work on official WhatsApp (Cloud API) numbers, because Meta’s service-message pricing applies to them.
Can I take a message back after sending it?
The WhatsApp Cloud API cannot delete or edit a message once it has been sent. That is why the send queue gives you a short pause you choose yourself: while a message waits you can undo it, merge it or send it now, and when the pause ends it goes out exactly as typed.
Is reacting to a customer’s message free?
In our tests on 23 September 2026, Meta attached no pricing to reactions; we will re-check after 1 October. So the app suggests a reaction as an optional alternative to a text thank-you, and Send as message is always one tap away.
How do I know whether the bot or the AI sent a reply?
Outgoing messages that no agent wrote carry a small badge on the sender avatar: the bot, AI, the API, a broadcast campaign, an abandoned-cart message or the store integration. Long-press the badge to read its label.
What happens when the 24-hour window closes?
The app shows a bar with the time left in the window. Once it closes, WhatsApp accepts only approved templates, and any free-form message is refused with error 131047. Send an approved template to reopen the conversation.
